1. Overview

Caps and Seals Pty Ltd (“we,” “our,” “us”) is committed to supplying high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction. This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines your rights and obligations in relation to the return of Goods purchased from us.
This Policy operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

2. Your Rights Under the ACL

Under the ACL, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if the Goods:

  • are faulty or defective;
  • are not of acceptable quality;
  • do not match their description; or
  • fail to perform as promised.

You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by faulty Goods.

3. Change of Mind Returns

  • Caps and Seals does not accept returns for change of mind or incorrect purchases, unless otherwise agreed in writing at our discretion.
  • If we agree to accept a return outside of the ACL, Goods must be unused, in their original packaging, and returned at your cost.

4. Return Procedure

If you believe your Goods are faulty or not as described:

  1. Contact us within 5 business days of receiving your order.
  2. Provide proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or order number).
  3. Our team may request photographs or further details to assess your claim.
  4.  If approved, instructions for returning the Goods will be provided.

5. Condition of Returned Goods

  • Returned Goods must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
  • Risk of loss or damage to returned Goods remains with the Customer until they are received by Caps and Seals.
  • Goods that are returned damaged, altered, or incomplete may not be eligible for a refund or replacement.

6. Refunds and Replacements

  • Once the returned Goods are inspected and approved, we will process a refund, replacement, or repair as appropriate.
  • Refunds will be made via the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Please allow 7-10 business days for refunds to be processed.

7. Exclusions

This Policy does not apply to:

  • Goods damaged due to misuse, neglect, or improper storage.
  • Goods altered or modified after delivery.
  • Special-order or custom-manufactured products, unless faulty under the ACL.

8. Shipping Costs

  • If Goods are returned because of a major fault or defect, Caps and Seals will bear the reasonable cost of return shipping.
  • If Goods are returned for any reason outside of the ACL (e.g. discretionary returns), the Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
